Early Years Learning Framework
The EYLF is the document on which all Early Years Educators base their observations, documentation and planning. The EYLF enables us to better understand your children's development and to adapt our teaching style to suit the needs of every child in our care.
The EYLF outlines the principles and practices that should be followed to create the best possible centre for children's care, learning and wellbeing. Here at Merimbula-Tura Kindergarten we ensure that we do follow these principles and practices.
The EYLF consists of five different outcomes:
Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
Outcome 2: Children are connected to and contribute to their world
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners
Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators
Each outcome consists of many subcategories that link to specific types of learning.
